Installation and finalizing

When I get home I am going to start installing the wheels. It's going to take a few hours but I have the supplies. I also need to make the website but I can't until I'm done. I will finish though since I'm almost done. But the wheels will be installed with kinda flattened u brackets that secure the axle completely because the wheels have a spinny thingy. I will test it soonish.

I haven't done anything for a few weeks

My wheels came in and the axle also came in but I haven't taken the time to install them to the frame. I need to create the website after I finish installing the wheels. The axles are looser than I thought so I thought I would have to hammer it on so that's another barrier. I may just superglue the crap out of it.

The Wall

I don't know where to go from here. Its too wet, and cold to test it. I have completed the frame. I ordered the wheels. I still need to create the website. I still need to install the wheels. I still need to film. I just don't know where to go after that.

What I still need to do....

I need to install the wheels. I also need to make a video of test driving to show its safe. ill create the website after all of that. But when i'm done with that I'll start motorizing it. I need to make the blueprints more understandable. The blueprints will be photographed. After all of that I will link the website this blog.

The wheels

I am making blueprints to install the wheels. They will arrive soon.... I will have to make it strong enough to withstand gravel and bumps. After I test it and it works I may install a motor then I will move on with the prototype if I Finnish that as well. I will start the second one if I finish early.... I am painting the first prototype as well. If I don't have enough time I'll post the first prototype on the blueprinting site that I'm making.

What I have accomplished so far.

I have made blueprints... I have also ordered the supplies I need. I found a motor. I have not ordered the motor yet. I will still test it in a couple of weeks. I am going to test it on art hill. It will have 8-10 inch hard rubber. It has plywood that is strong. The back is held in with 10 screws.

I Finished The Frame

The finished fame is sturdy, and weighs less that the two- by- four frame. It is strong enough and i'm adding a backrest. the go-cart is almost done, but We're figuring out whether to make it electric, or gas. Or to even do that at all. We're thinking about a giant fan like on a hover craft to move it. Its big enough for me to keep my legs flat, and lean back. I will post the video of me testing it without a motor in a matter of weeks.

The Supplies

I am screwing in the walls and I will post the picture later today or next week. The go cart is coming along nicely. I'm altering the design a little bit. I'm going to weave the rope through each side of the wall. Bryce isn't going to test it. I'm going to do the first test. It should be ready in about 7 weeks but I may not be able to get the motor. The whole part of this is a cost efficient go cart. Ill link the photos soon.

The Motor

I am getting a three horse power motor. I'm going to get sheet metal and make a cover for the car battery. Just a simple metal box will do. I need to keep track of the price. I have a limit of $150 to make it cost efficient. After I make the cart, and it works I will make a website with the blueprints. I will leave the details in other posts. My uncle will help with the wiring. It can only have one speed. Fast.

More blueprinting

I am going to design a hood for the front that is sturdy and will provide protection. I am not sure if I will use it or if it will be strong enough. It will include padding on the top for comfort. I need to get padding that anyone can get and is available in almost every store. It needs to be thin, and efficient. Thin memory foam or a thin mattress pad. It will include brakes as well.
